Emilie Browning

I adore Emily Browning! This Australian born 23-year-old actress got her start when a friend’s father who in the acting business noticed her in a school play. She is a rare creature in the fact that she loves acting for the career and NOT the fame. She has stated that she will never dye her hair blonde and prance around in mini skirts (outside of a role of course) nor attach her name to projects (like fashion lines)just for the fame.I love how Emilie sticks to movies with depth and has turned down a LOT of mainstream roles that could have catapulted her career into super stardom but realized that those roles would limit her ability to do more Indie roles or would spin into a series of films that would lock her into binding contracts. She was personally chosen by Stephenie Meyer for the role of “Bella Swan” of Twilight. She turned it down because she didn’t want to be involved in a film franchise as it would distract her from her studies. She got her big break starring in “Lemony Snicket’s A series Of Unfortunate Events”. She got the role of “Baby Doll” in “Sucker Punch” after Amanda Seyfried had to dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. She also got the lead role in the indie movie “Sleeping Beauty” after Mia Wasikowska was chosen for the movie “Jane Eyre”. Emily also is a singer and model. She is a vegetarian but allows herself to eat fish. she took a break from acting to finish school. Emily believes in order to be a good actress you have to surround yourself with real people and have a life. She is dating actor max Irons whose father is actor Jeremy Irons.

See her next in “Summer In February” and next years’ “Magic Magic”
