"Fashion at the speed of life"

Tribal is really big this summer and we all want to find a way to be trendy and true to our own style. Now, we aren’t talking about 80’s tribal where the focus was on wood jewelry, oversized earrings and a melody of bright colors, today’s tribal is all about print. Yep, we are looking for great prints with mostly neutrals (think black and white, browns and greys) with pops of color. So here is our style guide to everything tribal in every style!

Tribal at Micheal Kors

Classic always calls for tailored looks but we want to mix things up by trying tribal prints on a dress. Like the Micheal Kors look above, the style should look effortless. To be adventurous, move away from animal print and towards more abstract print.

Full tribal is always going to be overwhelming for everyday life but even more so for you. Stick to tribal bottoms in jeans or like the fitted skirt above and pair with a lose shirt. For a more adventurous look, try tribal pajamas pants with a t-shirt.

Pairing a neutral top with a flowing skirt is the essence of romance. For an adventurous look pair a bright bottom with a tribal print top.

Mixing tribal prints seem to not match but this is the look you are actually want to achieve. Mix light color tribal patterns with bright color tribal patterns for a wow and tone it down with black and white tribal prints paired with a bright tribal print.

Diesel Summer 2013

Since leather during the summer is in (as predicted by my sister and blogger part, Eva), try pairing leather shorts with a black and white tribal print. Don’t be afraid to pull out the studded jacket. For a relaxed look, try an oversized tribal tee with black leather jeggings.

Wearing prints that move in opposite directions are what makes these looks glamorous. For a more adventurous look, pair stripes with tribal blends.
