One of my friends once remarked that swimwear can be tedious to watch because there just isn’t anything new, it’s all been done before. Indeed, as we ran between shows, we saw the same bikini, full body and varieties of trikinis grace every runway with notable difference added by ruffles, prints and patterns. So how does one make their show more interesting than all the other trendy designed beachwear? If you are anything like L*SPACE, you add a ton of eye-catching accessories. Accessories always make the outfit in real life and now they also make the runway a lot more interesting.
The accessories were pure glam rock which was a direct juxtaposition to the bright colored Bohemian style of L*SPACE. This contrast made the show twice as interesting. Spiked hats, black chain and studded boots inspired models to give extra attitude. The boots were interesting because people usually pair heels with swimwear.
The swimwear depended mostly on the bikini top twist. The design resounded throughout the entire collection. Prints were minimal and when used were towards the smaller size. Prints are usually on the larger size so this look made the clothes more breezy and less tropical.
