Curvy Chic:Spring 2015:Boho Style

I absolutely have fallen on love with the Boho style and have been mixing it with my rocker/punk style for a while now! I am so happy to see it come back in style in different versions every year! So my fellow curvy girls I have put together some cute outfits for you to try out. I don’t like ponchos on curvy girls as it just makes us look boxy so instead go for a kimono or blanket cardigan that you can layer. Leave multi tiered skirts alone as they are too clichĂ© and can make you look older and instead go for a flowy maxi skirt or shorter flared Boho printed skirt. I hate traditional peasant tops for the same reason as ponchos and instead go for an embroidered tank or a short sleeved silk modern peasant style that opens at the neck.

Hey curvy ladies! This Fall is all about Punk! Punk isn’t just about studs, spikes and skulls it’s also about attitude! You can wear pop culture tees with witty sayings, ripped and shredded jeans and shorts ( if it gets a little chilly just add some leggings) and don’t forget to add a leather (or faux) jacket for the chilly Autumn nights! try color instead of the usual black for a punk edge for 2013!

Curvy Chic Spring Edition:Wear Florals!

Curvy Chic spring Edition:Wear Florals!

Spring is all about floral prints but us curvy girls have to be careful what types of prints we wear as to not look like our grandmother’s couch! Choose floral prints that are large and brush stroked as it flatters the body more. You can also choose dresses that break up the floral print like the polka-dot dress I chose above.  Make sure your silhouettes are fitted on top but loose on the bottom or if you want sexy vixen make sure your silhouette is body hugging but with a flattering neck line like boat or sweetheart. Choose floral prints that are bold and not too dark. Make sure to pair all that floral with some chunky nude heels as these are in all the way till Fall!
